Night of the Running Dead - Sandy, UT - October 12, 2013

Tasha and I just ran the Night of the Running Dead in Sandy and had yet another AMAZING time at a theme 5K.

I personally witnessed several people taking their picture in these coffins. Good times.

Another awesome shirt. I paid extra to get tech fabric.

That's right. Tutus. We were both ashamed and entertained. I've made fun of plenty of girls in tutus at races in my time and I guess its fair that we caved and did so ourselves. If it makes a difference they were covered with blood...(such a tool)

We were on the "zombie" half of things. The humans got to start 2 minutes ahead of us while we enjoyed the "zombiance"

I will quite gladly enjoy this race again. PLUS I ran 35:50.817 which is a PR for me. Movin' on up!

Witches Brew Ha Ha 5K - South Jordan, UT - October 4, 2013

My mother, cousin Pam and I ran the Witches Brew Ha Ha in South Jordan at Gardner's Village and had a great time. My Aunt Carma and a couple little cousins came along to cheer us on.

So Gardner's Village is witch themed for the whole month with a lot of great activities and actors playing witches. This was the first year for the 5K.

This was a "fun run" so we did a fair amount of jogging/walking/talking/laughing.  Had a great time out with the girls and would gladly do it again.
